Premature ovarian failure in my twenties, been on HRT since my mid-thirties (except for when I had 3 year old DD via donor egg IVF). Went to see GP with dull pain and random bleeding (the HRT doesn't seem to be creating the usual artificial cycle as it always did before). Ultrasound showed four 'stones' - calcified womb lining. Consultant doesn't think it's a problem even though I'm keen to transfer our frozen embryo, and I'm 43 this year so already worried that it's a bit of a hostile environment in there!
Any experiences? Should I push to have a D&C, which was one of the possible treatments discussed but then dismissed by the doc as potentially doing more harm than good?
