those who have has thrush, can you tell me your symptoms ?
i had my smear 8 weeks ago, not going to lie it wasn’t the most pleasant one I’ve had. It felt like it nipped me on the way in when it was opened and since then I’ve had nothing but bother. I’ve had the following symptoms on and off for the past 6/8 weeks …
- itching / burning sensation
- increased discharge (white and odourless)
I bought a pessary thrush treatment, as well as the external cream from a pharmacy. It eased the symptoms but they came back with a vengeance.
i called the doctors start of week who asked me to do two swabs. One for infection check and one was STI check. It’s put a lot of doubt in my mind, could this be an sti? I’d be very shocked and hurt if so as I’ve been in a relationship for 7 years, so I’d know it means he had been unfaithful. I’ve to phone Friday for results of both swabs.. however just thought I’d see if anyone here can shed light on their thrush symptoms etc and maybe either advise or put my mind at ease in meantime as Friday seems so long away when waiting for results xx
