Hey all,

I will be speaking to my doctor but I’m just quite nervous atm. I’m 27 and had my baby 8 weeks ago, over the last 3 weeks, I’ve been feeling a lump in my right breast. I know women get blocked milk ducts etc, I’ve had them and they’ve lasted only a few days and are painful. This is a painless lump, it hasn’t grown or anything in the 3 weeks. I been hoping it goes away and it hasn’t.. Just really nervous to speak upon what it could be.. I do understand it could be nothing but I also know it could be something.

Don't worry as there is probably a good explanation BUT ring your GP tomorrow just to make sure.

Get it checked out. Fingers crossed its nothing

Definitely get it checked. And get a proper referral. A quick ultrasound will show if it's anything sinister, but it's likely to to be a harmless cyst or something.

But get it checked! Xx

Former BC patient here. Get it checked. You'll have a mammo and ultrasound. Given you're post partum, it's much more likely to be hormone related. 9/10 lumps are benign. You can wind yourself up about it but it would be so much easier to get it checked and hopefully you can just get on with your life. Good luck! Flowers

Won't go into upsetting detail but please don't let them fob you off by saying its a bocked milk duct and make sure they refer you for further tests
