Control of thrush tablets

I've just had a pharmacy tell me that I may not buy thrush tablets in advance (as I pick up my prescription for antibiotics) and that I may not buy two at once (bodyweight means sometimes I need two). Before I get in a snit about these things can anyone point me to where these rules are laid out?

I have been having repeated episodes because of diabetes and someone on mumsnet said to take Garden of Life probiotics. They even do one specifically for virginal care. Omg the thrush went immediately and I havent had it for a month. Also, my diabetic consultant recommended using a tea tree shower gel. She said Austrailian body care is great but pricey and the Original Source do one as well, but I'm not sure how effective it is. I was previously using simple shower gel and I think it just made the thrush worse. Good luck 😁

Actually, my consultant also said that Canestan comes in a stronger formula that many people do not know about, I think by pessary rather than tablets. She said 500mg I think, but you should check that out as well
