Resting heart rate - too low?

I'm hovering around 40yo. Resting heart rate according to fit bit is 48. Is this too low? I'm a size 12 (prob could do with losing a stone but eat healthy). Quite active (when not at work).

Sounds fine to me - a low resting HR is a sign of good health. I think below 40 is the threshold for concern.

I'm 10 years older than you are and mine is 50ish. Sometimes 47, or if I have a few drinks goes to 53. It's good to have a low resting heart rate - generally a sign of good health.

Mine has always been around 50. I'm a fat, middle aged woman. But it was also 50 ish when I was a fit 20-something. Also have fairly low blood pressure. Extra low when I was pregnant!

Also have a low respiratory rate. I think maybe I'm really a horse!

That does seem quite low unless you are really athletic. A normal rhr for an adult should be 60-100 www.bhf.org.uk/informationsupport/how-a-healthy-heart-works/your-heart-rate In your position I would probably have a chat to my GP to see if they are concerned.
