Remove implant or not?

My husband walked out in January, and the idea of finding another partner, even casually, to me
is completely off the table. Yes I may change my mind later. Do I get the implant removed, its been in since November - becuase I have no need for it, or keep it to benefit from the no periods effect? Id be interested to see if my weight went down if It was removed, Ive been on constant contraception since 2010 and I know the weight has risen slowly. I can’t decide if the chance of weight loss, plus the chance for my body to be added hormone free outweighs the blessing of no periods. What would you all do?

What age are you. I’d take it just for no periods, but the hormone free thing is probably more appealing if you’re younger

I’d get it whipped out- not sure why, maybe just the chance to reset and let the extra hormones ebb from your system…
