Breast worry

I am thin and have small breasts. I've recently started doing self examinations and can feel bumpy nodule like lumps next to each nipple. They are in the same place on both sides but I am paranoid. Does anyone know if this is normal? Thanks x

More than likely completely normal, however, any lump, bump, change etc you should see your GP.

Thank you. I'll get it checked out x

Former BC patient here. If it's the same on both breasts, it's unlikely to be anything dodgy. However, it's really important that anything at all you're not sure of, you get checked out. The positive side of this is that it's vital you know your own body so that any normal lumps and bumps will just be there but you will notice straight away if there is anything new or abnormal for you. Make that appointment!

Get it checked but I had something similar and it was a benign condition called fibrocystic breasts. My Dr sent me to get checked and the consultant said that's what it was after an ultrasound.
