Unsure if this is the correct place to post this but here goes...
It's taken me until 28 years to finally WANT to take care of myself more. This includes my health, my skin and adapting a "proper" care routine, taking time for myself to enjoy guilty pleasures and things I genuinely enjoy, taking action on my mental health and getting over my fear of booking appointments such as a smear test out of fear and embarrassment.
My question (or two rather) is, do you recommend any reading materials that could be helpful for nurturing a healthy and well balanced (mental health included) life and what do you do to give yourself that "self care" that we all need?
