Does anyone else have fever before/during their period?

Hello,
I wonder if anyone else has the same or if I have a virus going on
This has happened a few times before
In the days leading up to my period post children/whist breastfeeding I've always had flu type symptoms and body aches so I know it's coming, and I get very hot and sweaty (combined with this recent heat not great!) which I thought it hormonal. Anyway my temperature is 38.2 which is low grade I know. I'm on day 3 of my period
Does anyone else get similar? I hope this is what it is!

I had "period flu" once and was in bed for a few days. It was horrendous.

I didn't know it was a thing and posted on here and found about about period flu.

Hope you feel better soon

I get period flu, not every time, but frequently and it’s got worse as I’m heading through perimnopause.

I got a slight rise in temp and flu like aches and pains in muscles and joints everywhere, exhaustion and sometimes the joy of a headache on top of it.

I tried changing diet etc (basically tackling it "naturally" because I don't like unnecessary medications) but in the end I went on the pill because I couldn't cope with losing almost a week a month to it.

It actually happens too, although to a lesser extent if I take a week off, so I just take packs back to back (until I inevitably forget then I let it happen, feel ill and resolve not to forget again!).

Absolute BLISS to have my life back!!

Yes, I definitely suffered with this, I used to go to bed thinking I would be really ill by the morning but then get up and feel right as rain. Obviously Flo had arrived by then and I would have the usual stomach pains but the fluey feeling would be gone. After the first couple of times I realised it was connected and
on speaking to friends they had the same experience. Weird isn't it! 😁

Has anyone been to the GP and had this resolved? Mine literally makes me bed ridden.
