Pill break & Clots - help me!

Hello all,

I feel embarrassed to be making a thread regarding the contraceptive pill at my age, BUT i have been back on the pill for a month (the first time since I was 22), and I'm currently on my week's break with my last pill taken on Sunday.

Last night I woke up at 3am in sweats (annoying as it's the first cool night we've had in a while!) with horrific cramping. I took some feminax and tried to settle down but I couldn't lie still for the pain. I still was not actually bleeding, then this morning at around 7am I went to the toilet and (apologies in advance for the graphic description) huge clots literally poured out of me. There were about 3, about the size of a chunky lipstick tube.
The pain was immense, it literally knocked me sick and dizzy.

Is this a normal bleed on a pill break? I'm not sure if it's the amount of painkillers I've taken kicking in or if it's some relief following the clots but I'm not doubled over and in agony anymore, it's back to what I would call bad menstrual cramps. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I am not sure if it's worth mentioning but I had been trying to conceive for just over a year, but following a miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy I went onto the pill to take a break and put my mental health first. There is no chance I was pregnant before starting the pill as I took around my menstual cycle as advised by my doctor and also had a negative pregnancy test before starting.

Thank you anyone!
