Private gyne - what to expect

After being fobbed off by the NHS again, I’ve booked a private gyne consultation for tomorrow.

In my home country, it’s a one stop shop, so if you needed an ultrasound or other tests they’d be able to do them there and then.

I’m booked in for a consultation, does anyone know if that will include any checks at all? Will they look at my cervix? Or will that be a separate appointment?

My first appointment she did an examination, don’t think she looked at my cervix though. I was booked for an ultrasound scan, then following that I had an MRI, blood tests and hysteroscopy. Was covered by insurance thankfully. This was at a BMI hospital.

@nomorespaghetti thanks. I mean, my cervix is one of the main reasons I am going, so I’m hopeful she will

When I took DD after the NHS failed to help her for many years while waiting for her to "grow out of" her endometriosis she wasnt examined at all but the Gynae spent around 30 minutes asking her questions and then drew a lovely picture of her uterus.
She really helped DD and I recommend it if its affordable

I had a trans-vag scan at my first appointment.

I'd already had the US before I saw my gynacologist, he asked questions about my reproductive health & then did a very quick internal, then booked me in for a laparoscopy.
