"Lean" PCOS and anxiety/highly strung

Hi

I'm just wondering whether there is a link between "lean" PCOS and anxiety/being "highly strung". I have lean PCOS and am very thin - BMI of 18.5 all my adult life - I went to a fertility nutritionist (yes a bit woo but I got a bit desperate) a while ago and I said I had PCOS and she said "ah yes, lean PCOS very tightly wound, tense, highly strung" and sort of clenched her fists and vibrated her arms a bit as if trying to show me how much energy my nervous system is using. That's me exactly I am tense allllll the time, nervous, anxious etc. the fact the nutritionist mentioned it made me think there was a link with PCOS

Is anyone else like this? Any coping mechanisms for the tension/anxiety that work for you?

I've had psychologists, psychiatrists, ADs CBT etc and nothing ever really seems to work and I just thought what if it's to do with PCOS and hormone based and there's another way to fix it!?
