I was sterilised a year ago the same time as I had ablation (which was supposed to stop my periods), the ablation didn’t work and I’m still having painful periods. I seem to be located and in pain most of the month, ovulation is painful and sometimes I bleed during ovulation (like I am today). I’m not sure where to go from here, I’m in pain most of the month, I don’t really want a hysterectomy as I am a single parent too 2 disabled children, I can’t be on bed rest.
Do I go back on the pill to at least stop the ovulation pain? Though the pill is probably what caused my symptoms in the first place (was bleeding all the time on them).
When I Google I can’t seem to find real stories about the effects of sterilisation or ablation.
Has anyone else experienced similar, especially the bloating and pain?
