I have PCOS and had an abdominal ultrasound last week. My kidneys and ovaries were examined for it.
It wasn't my first rodeo - I had one before a few years back due to constant vomiting and severe cramps and it was totally fine, no complaints whatsoever.
But this time it was excruciatingly painful, she was pressing so hard into my kidneys, examining way longer than anticipated and I was trying so hard to bite my lip. Just to add, I have a very strong pain tolerance usually. When I came out of the hospital my sister was driving me home and I was almost in tears with the pain. It lasted for several days after too.
I spoke to my doctor today to check in about my results and told her about the pain - she wasn't impressed but and said that shouldn't have been the case.
Has anyone else ever had an experience like this? Just out of curiosity
