Cervical Ectropion/Being sent to Colposcopy

Hi everyone,
Just wanted a bit of advice really from people who have been through anything similar.
I currently have the implant, the last few months I have been getting irregular bleeding, slight tummy pain (but not a lot) and bleeding after sex sometimes.
The doctor said she thinks it is an Ectropion and is now sending me to have a Colposcopy as better to be safe than sorry.
Now I am really worried that it could be something else Sad
Does anybody else have any similar experiences and everything turned out okay?
Thank you everyone

I had bleeding after sex and I ended up with it being cauterised. It never bothered me again.

I had mine diagnosed at the start of the year.

I've bled for ages on hormonal contraception and when pregnant.

The colposcopy was alright. It's a bit itchy when they put the stuff on so they can see it properly. I watched on the screen and it was really interesting to see how big it is.

I get spotting before my period and despite having an ablation I'm still spotting before periods. I think it's the ectropion.

It's all fine though.

I had bleeding after sex as a symptom too plus occasional spotting between periods. My GP could see what she though was an ectropian. Sent on 2ww pathway for colposcopy. Got really scared given the leaflets I was sent. In the end was a exactly what the GP thought, an ectropian. Has treatment there and then. Not the most pleasant experience but certainly nothing serious. I suspect mine might have come back so not looking forward to having to go back.
