I've been using depo provera for years.
Normally I get a mini period every 3- 6 months lasting about 3 days.
However the Monday before last I started spotting. This quickly turned to gushing. Last week I was passing clots that began to scare me size wise.
Got a doctors appointment on the phone. So I'm now on prescribed iron tablets.
However the bloody bleeding won't stop. Fairly heavy (have soaked through super tampons in approx 4 hours in some cases) most of the time. Then appears to be stopping, then comes back with a vengeance. Hardly any cramping, just some short sharp pains occasionally, maybe every 3 or so days. Fatigued as hell, probably due to anaemia from all this.
Wtf is going on here
Background, I'm 37, diabetic and during all this have been on two rounds of antibiotics for a chest infection. Now on day 15 of the period from hell.
