Mirena coil & pms symptoms

Hi all,

I had the mirena coil inserted in March to help with heavy periods. After the intial period of bleeding every day for the first 2 months or so everyone seems to have settled down.

I've had not bleeding or spotting in a month but this week I've had very sensitive breasts and feel a bit emotional/teary. This is usual for me when I have my period but not really any other time

I guess I'm wondering if other people have continued to have pms symptoms when their period is due even if the bleeding has stopped?

TIA

Hi there
I have the mirena coil and before I had it I have really bad pms. Since having the coil two years now I still suffer. I don’t have a period each month (bleed) but I do have all the feelings asif I am going to come on.

Yup definitely still get the hormonal response in the run up, I do get a period but it's super super light.

It’s awful isn’t it. I use to have very light but have nothing at all now.

I'm the same. I get all the symptoms of a period just without the bleeding.
