Hey! Just wondering if anyone can advise if my c section scar is healing ok? I'm 7 weeks pp and it's still a bit stingey! Just wanted to know if this is normal? Also my partner wants to get back down to it but I'm nervous to do anything until I know I'm all healed up!

It looks to be healing ok, but what you do with your body so soon after birth is entirely up to you!! I say this as the vetran of 2 cs! “A bit stingy” - could it be mildly infected? Have you tried washing it with salt water?

Have you had a 6 week check up? Do they even still do these??? My youngest is 10… but I remember my GP saying that I was I good shape to make my baby a big sister if I wanted (I didn’t want….).

Looks like it's healing really nicely. I found the stinginess was down to nerves reconnecting.
I think I waited at least 12 weeks after mine last year, I tried a few weeks after but weirdly my vagina was really sore due to breastfeeding (was sore for a year until I stopped) so worth bearing that in mind. Could you do other things instead, oral?

I think it's healing really well! At 6 weeks mine was wide open again Confused it looks how mine did when it finally closed and started to heal, then it started to fade shortly after. I had stinging but it felt very different to when it was open and infections etc so I think the stinging is healing?!
