Anyone had this and what were your symptoms?

Mine isn't diagnosed but being investigated. Clear Trans vaginal ultra sound.

Mine is pain along my section scar starting before period, worse during period and then the feeling of something there or a juggle after. Used to be only during period but seems to be increasing.

Wondered if anyone had an experienced?

Yes I had this, it started in September 2020. I began trying to get fit and thought I’d pushed myself too hard, honestly thought I’d torn internally every time I exercised. Then I started getting pain just before ovulation, it was horrendous. Then a couple months later I’d get pain during my period as well as ovulation pain, I’m sure the stress also made it worse. It would feel very tender in a specific space and then I’d push my finger into it I could feel something hard but very small.

It took 2 ultrasounds to finally be diagnosed as the first time it was a suspected ovarian cyst, so it was missed as they were looking in the wrong place. Had an operation to remove it in March 2021, the thing they removed as actually tiny and couldn’t believe it caused so much pain.

I’ve not had any issues since the procedure fortunately. Hope that helps.

Thank you - that does. There isn't much literature about it and apparently it is rare?

My GP has also given me a FIT stool test which I will do as she said it could be bowel related but I have no bowel problems.

The pain is before and during my period and after I feel like it is slightly swollen - though looks okay. Is all a bit odd and it's all on the left part of my scar. Ovulation is painful too.

My section was nearly 10 years ago but I have been pregnant or breastfeeding for a good part of those 10 years so maybe the endometriosis hadn't had a chance to grow?

Mine was 4 years after having my kid, didn’t breast feed and I wasn’t on any birth control, so that makes sense that it wouldn’t grow much in that time for you over 10 years.

Yes it is rare, 4% of women that have had c-sections I think the consultant said, I had no idea it was a thing.

Hope you get answers soon.
