Apologies if this is TMI.
I had my baby 4 months ago and during the delivery of my placenta, I was torn ever so slightly - I only needed 4 small stitches. They healed and were checked at my 8 week check.
My periods returned at 9 weeks PP and I have just started my 3rd period since birth of baby. I have found that I am sore down there for the duration of my period (4-5 days), it feels like it did when I had my stitches. I haven't been wearing tampons as it's painful so just wearing pads. The pain is internal. It's more painful during a bowel movement.
Is this normal at this stage of PP?
