I am looking for advice on my period.. I will start from the very beginning.
Since I started my period when I was a teen I always had light periods, so light I wouldn't need to use a pad.
In 2018 at the age of 22 I took northisterone to delay my period as I was going on holiday, I took it for 2 days before stopping as it was making me feel ill, so I took the pill for a few days while I was on the holiday.
A few days after I took the pill I started bleeding heavy, I would leak through thick pads and through my knickers, I had the depo shot and tried the pill again to stop the bleeding but nothing helped. I had an ultra sound to see if they could see any abnormalities but nothing was found. The bleeding lasted every day for a year and a half until I randomly stopped.
I didn't have a period again for another year and a half until I started the pill again to which I started bleeding again so I stopped.
No period again for months until I took the morning after pill in October, I bled for 4 days.
Still no period again until I had the implant inserted in January, started bleeding a month later everyday for another month.
Had the WORST period pains from it which led me to have time off work as I couldn't get out of bed and taking co-codamol to knock me out so I could sleep throughout the day too.
Had the implant removed in March, bleeding stopped but haven't had a period since.
My doctor has told me to get back in touch after 3 months if still no period.
My biggest worry is being infertile.
I have used ovulation strips but no second line shows, had a very very very faint line on one stick out of 10
Me and my partner are not using contraception when we are having sex.
This week I have been having cramps and back ache, I had spotting yesterday when wiping and a little bit of brown stringy discharge
I would be grateful to hear your thoughts and advice
