Hey, I'm just looking for a bit of support or if anyone else been through similar experience.
I has my DS a couple of weeks ago. Was induced, in labour for 3 days, got to 10cm started pushing then rushed off for emergency c section due to waters being broken over 24 hours.
A couple weeks later, I started feeling hot so realised had temp, ended up at GP prescribed antibiotic as thought had womb infection. A couple of days later temp still not gone down and ended up in A and E, readmitted back to hospital and on IV antibiotics to combat a severe infection.
They found my wound is infected, sorry if TMI but I woke up in hospital literally soaked in blood and pus. It was pouring out so I've had to be slightly reopened and packed inside with dressing to heal along with strong course of antibiotics. Got to have this changed every few days. 
Has anyone had a similar experience? I guess I'm looking for some comfort that will be longer recovery but after everything just feeling a massive step back and all been horrible.
I'm super lucky I have an amazing DS who is doing so well and very supportive partner.
