I'm so, so sorry if this is TMI. I think I'm peri menopause, really irregular periods, a few misses ones. I've always had cysts on my ovaries, always in pain whatever side is ovulating. That's been for years and every scan has always shown bulky ovaries with 12 or more folicular cysts.

My periods late again! About 5 days. Definitely not pregnant. I've been in agony for the last 8-10 days in my right hand side, ovary absolutely throbbing. I just had a massive burst of discharge which I thought was my period but it was discharge - which is normal for me but not that amount and it was streaked with this kinda dark yellow green stringy stuff with jet black bits. Manages to get some into a tissue. Should I call GP or is this normal? So fucking fed up with having shite ovaries. Can you elect to have them removed?!

That's a probably slightly clearer pic. There was more black bits but that's all I could get onto a tissue. Absolutely disgusting!

I think you should see your GP to get that checked, especially if it's not normal for you. It could be an infection.

Did you get yourself checked @missymarrk ? I think you possibly have had an ovarian cyst rupture / burst

I called the docs but they didn't seem too concerned! I have blood tests booked on Monday to check FSH levels! Still in pain but it's no where near as bad. Spent a good few days in bed through! X
