Any nexplanon users out there?
How are your periods?
Mine seems to be a gushing river that never ends.
Does it get better?

I get one light period every few months, but I know people who got constant periods on them. It's a roll of the dice. I love Nexplanon so much I'm on my fourth - arm is getting a bit scarred now though!

I wish I was as lucky :( its been a year now and it's getting worse. My last one lasted 4 week and it was HEAVY every single day!

I get a about 3 weeks period free and then it all starts again :(

I'm amazed you've put up with it for a year to be honest! My periods do go a little haywire in the 3rd year of the implant and I have more - maybe you'll finally get some respite in the opposite way and they'll slow down?

I was constantly bleeding and developed really bad anxiety so had it taken out after 4 months, back on the progesterone only pill and everything has went back to normal

Notmytiep · 17/05/2022 16:58

@BlazingRufus fingers crossed!

@pinacolada321 You see, asides from all the bleeding I've not experience any other negative symptoms. It would have been perfect for me asides from that.

I’m on nexplanon and I was curious if anyone else has had their white blood cell count increase dramatically while on it as well as have life interrupting fatigue? My doctor wants me to get it taken out to see if it changes anything

Jesa91 · 16/02/2023 03:00

I should mention that I’ve been on it since 2014/2015 and started experiencing fatigue and high white blood cell count in 2016
