Implant Heavy Bleeding

I had the contraceptive implant put in my arm in February and I think since February I have had about 2/3 max on no bleeding. I have been on my period now for about 4-5 weeks and this week it's unbearable.

I am having to change my pad hourly, it's waking me up at night, I feel exhausted all the time and have headaches. I feel as though the heavy bleeding is the reason why I feel so tired lately.

Has anyone else experienced this at all? I want this to stop I'm at my wit's end with it.

Hi, I’ve had the implant for over a year now and I’m a little annoyed with it. I have no bleeding for 3 months and then I bleed for about a month straight but it’s very very light but it just drags out so it’s really inconvenient. It doesn’t cause any disruption to my life it just gets on my nerves having it for a month at a time. My doctors put me on the pill for 3 months to hopefully sort the bleeding out. I came off of the pill roughly a month ago and the bleeding has restarted and we’re going on almost 2 weeks now and I’m worried it’ll go back to how it was. I was just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and if there’s anything I can do to stop the light bleeding from happening
