Hi, I had endometrial ablation (novasure) in oct 2019. I was 52 at that time. I have had cesarean section, and tubal sterilisation, in the past. my consultant was reluctant to perform the procedure, but after years of suffering, and 2 procedures to remove polyps I couldn't cope with it anymore, and he agreed.
I can honestly say, I regret not taking his advice. I have suffered regular moderate to severe right sided pain every 10-14 without fail ever since. I have not had any bleeding at all since the procedure, but when I get this pain, everything "down there" feels wrong. it lasts intermittently for 2-4 days then goes for another 10-14 days, pain killers don't touch it, only heat pack helps a bit. I didn't seek medical help sooner as we were straight into the pandemic and I felt, there were more important conditions than mine, I have tried to research this online, but the is little UK based information about this. I have left a message with the consultants secretary to see if I would still be on his radar, failing that I will go back to GP. Has anyone experienced this?
I'd appreciate any similar experiences of advice Thanks
