Thrush or bv?

I have soreness in my vagina and labia with increased discharge but no itching. How can I tell if this is thrush or bv? I thought when I looked it up I had bv but gp has diagnosed thrush over the phone as she said bv does not cause pain.

I came on to ask a similar question! Can't get a gp appointment till next week and that is on the phone so not sure how much use it will be... I have increased thick white discharge but no pain or itching... Not even sure if it's thrush!

Hi you can buy tests from boots or other chemists that are like a ph strip that test the ph and tell you which one you have got. Hope that helps. X

Sexual health clinics can usually diagnose you there and then and provide free medication!

@kittykat818 didn't even think of that...not
been to one of them since I was a young 'un!!!
