Hi, I just wondered if anyone has had any experience of having an episiotomy revision surgery in the UK. I've had pain and a pulling feeling ever since my episiotomy and I've got a NHS referral for a consult in September. I had my baby at the end of December. I just wondered if anyone has had this procedure done and whether they thought it was worthwhile paying for it done privately to get it done much sooner especially as I am in pain every day now.
Also which private hospital would you recommend if had it done ? I rang one today and reception had no idea what I was talking about

Anyone help? I have episiotomy stitches before 1 week ,now the condition is like this. Little pain in the area, no bad smell no fever. Are stitches infected or not?

Did you find out if this was infected ?
