Hi, so I started taking cerazette and it has been an awful experience, bleeding non stop so I have gotten fed up and stopped taking it yesterday. Wanted to ask how long does it take for the bleeding to stop. thanks

I wouldn't describe my experience as having non stop bleeding but I did have light and random spotting whilst taking cerazette. I had my first period almost immediately after stopping and that cycle lasted 30 days. So back to a regular cycle within a month.
Hope it's quick for you.

my gp told me to stick with it . First few months were awful then presto not had a period in 6/7 years. Due to come off it now to see where I am with menopause and I dread it

The nurse in work did an online family planning course the other day and I'm sure she mentioned this and it was recommended stopping it for about 4 days, use alternative contraception and then restart it. Don't quote me but speak to your Practice Nurse to see if she has been on the same online course and can offer advice before you give up.
