Hi all,

So I keep getting BV - I am not currently sexually active, as am single. However I have a copper coil in place and find that I frequently get BV from my time of the month. I am hygenic, avoid perfumed soaps, change sanitary wear regularly etc....but I still find that it's really hard to keep that PH level correct.

So...I know to use Balance Activ to treat BV...but are there any good/proven prevention suggestions? I've read about essential oil pessaries/tampons etc etc and a bit confused about all the suggestions - so can someone give me some tried and tested methods? Even a good supplement I can take to help my body maintain correct PH levels?

I am going onto the dating scene soon and really don't want to be feeling insecure about my lady garden....haha.

Thanks in advance

I kept getting it. Taking the treatment would shift the symptoms but not permanently. I ordered a course of antibiotics from Superdrug and I've had no problems with it since.
