Periods in late 40s

I am 48 yrs old.
my periods were always very regular sinceI Had them when 13 years old.
Regular I mean every 28 days and lasted 5 days- healthy flow, no issues.
Since my Covid Jab last year in February this all changed and my period became very irregular- lasting 7-10 days and coming in shorter cycles like 19-24 days, sometimes weak..
I understand I could be peri menopausal but I had no issues before the jab.
Also every women in my mums side of family had their periods until the age of 55-56 so I don’t think I’m so close to my menopause.
is this normal or shall I contact Gp ( which I can imagine will say it’s peri menopause etc)
getting worried..

Same here. Definitely coming closer together. I wouldn’t worry, been told it’s normal.

Mine are exactly like that and have been for a few years. I'm 47. They haven't changed since vaccination.

Funnily enough I'm 41 and had no symptoms what so ever that anything was about to change. Soon.after I had my first jab a few weeks ago I started getting symptoms that could well be peri. Needless to say I'm not having the second and third. I knew it was a bad idea to even have the first... I had an awful feeling it would do something after reading all the reports of menstrual changes.

Same here too!
Except mine did change with the vaccine.
Really heavy, after having really easy periods so far.

Interesting. I just posted about my periods disappearing. This does kind of coincide with the booster and I don’t have any menopause symptoms. I’m 42 and they were a bit irregular last year but still existent!
