I know it's normal to spot a bit after a pap smear but it's been three days since and it smells really bad. Also it's the first time a smear test has hurt and made me cramp up. I'm 43 and I've had one child who is now 10. How long should I wait before contacting a nurse or doctor? No other symptoms but for slightly slimy blood trails and tiny clots
