Brown spotting 2 weeks after period

Since day 14 (today is day 18) I’ve noticed brown spotting on my pantyliner. I’ve had this before but it was only a couple of days after my period ended, not 2 weeks.

Has anyone experienced this?

Yes. I recently had brown spotting after sex, first time it has ever happened. It then happened again 2 days after my period had ended, so clearly not related to sex.

GP has put it down to covid a couple months back, they said they’ve seen this type of thing a lot. I had a clear smear and ultrasound a year ago, and swabs all came back normal.

@Whathefisgoingon Your username really reasonates with me haha! My smear test was totally fine (last July) and I had a transvaginal ultrasound a couple of months ago (nothing sinister found - was to investigate absence of periods and my super heavy periods which they’ve now said is probably endometriosis). I’ve never had brown spotting a few days after ovulation (which was cd12). So odd that you’ve had it too.

Wait, the beige-brown spotting was (barely) there day cd15 but it was more obvious yesterday and today (cd17). I got my days mixed up haha.

I know this post is old but was wondering what came of this for you?
I'm currently in my fertile week and for the past 24 hours have had beige-brown spotting, only when wiping.. just wondered if I need to be concerned? My period isn't due u till around 13th January..

@anon1411 For me, I had another transvaginal ultrasound and had a private smear. All came back clear. Gynae said it can happen after ovulation and it hasn’t happened again since. I was VERY stressed out before it happened so I guess it wreaked havoc on my hormones.

I would speak to the GP and see what they think.
