Hi,I wondered if anyone has got any knowledge about spotting after having my Contraceptive implant removed. I had it in November 2021 and it was awful! Constant bleeding and spotting about 50% of the time. Plus mood swings 😬 I had it removed a year later at Xmas time 2021 as my partner as his vasectomy results back and he’s all clear! However, after one normal cycle my periods are all over the place again like they were on the implant.
Before the implant my cycle had been very regular 23-25 days for years, and had returned to normal very quickly after my daughter 2 and a half years ago. I am 40 but the dr checked my levels and said no sign of any peri menopause type stuff. I’m just fed up of it!
Has anyone experienced this or got any tips on how to settle my cycle? I will add I’ve been under a lot of stress and I wonder if this has contributed to it.
