PMDD or something else

I had my second child in 2020 and my periods returned around 10 months later…since then I have found that my mood and general well-being is severely impacted the days leading up to my period.

I can feel very depressed/suicidal or really short tempered - and so things that I would usually brush off as mildly irritating are almost rage inducing! (I exaggerate - but just to give you an idea that it feels more than PMT) I try to be rational and think this is only going to last a few days and I will feel better soon - but i just don’t feel myself at all and it’s becoming unbearable.

I don’t think it’s peri-menopause as I have no other symptoms. Periods are more regular than pre-pregnancy. I have PCOS so they were quite sporadic before.

I just wondered if anyone else had this, and found something that helped?

Thanks for reading.
