I'm in desperate need of some advice as I'm currently outside of the UK on holiday and it seems my thrush (confirmed previously with a swab through GP) is coming back. I had two pessaries prescribed and then felt better until a few days before my holiday when it felt like the start of thrush again. GP prescribed an antifungal cream to use for 7 days and only managed to get through 4 days before my period started. It then seemed to have come back after my period but now I have a large swollen bump on one side of my vulva near the labia which seemed red and angry and is getting larger. I'm trying the cream again and on day 2 as it seemed to be working before my period, but I'm really concerned about the bump. Is that the thrush making it swollen and angry or should I be sucking it up and paying for a doctor to check it out? I just want this gone. Never had thrush before and it just won't go away and is the absolute worst!
