Mini pill cerazette

Hi ladies, I'm 4 months postpartum and I still haven't had a period after my c-section. I started the pill 2 weeks after my daughter was born, I bled for quite a while after my section as my incision scar was infected twice so I could've had a bleed but couldn't differentiate between the lochia bleed and period. Anyone else on this pill and doesn't get periods? I stopped breastfeeding when she was 4 weeks old x

It's very common to be period free while taking cerazette, it's often prescribed to women with problem periods for that very reason. I took it for several years and it stopped mine.

I was on this pill for around 18 months, after the first 3 my periods stopped, I came off it for this reason and they returned 6 weeks later.

I think it's perfectly normal not to get one but if you are concerned do a pregnancy test and/or speak to your gp.

I've been on the mini pill for a few years after having dc and hardly ever have a period. The odd light bleeding a couple of times a year. It's great, I wonder what the downsides are (apart from not being able to tell if you're pregnant due to missing a period, I suppose).

When I first started taking Cerzatte I bled at random times for a few months. Now a couple of years in, I might have a light bleed maybe once or twice a year.
