My pessary is agony to get in and out

When the doc fitted it, it hurt like hell and I winced when he put it in. I’m supposed to remove it at night but was almost in tears (and tears) trying. Eventually got it out but now I can’t get it back in this morning. I can’t squeeze it narrow enough to fit. Once it’s in it’s fine but I just could not get it in and then just gave up cried for 20 minutes with the indignity of it all. Was this tortuous device invented by a man? I’ve waited four fucking years for this appointment (lost referral, covid etc.) and now I can’t even use what was prescribed to me.

Is this normal? I feel violated by a wedge of rubber

What sort is it?

Bluechinavase · 06/04/2022 14:22

I’m not sure but it looks like a saucer donut with a square knobbly bit.

It shouldn't hurt. Pain indicates it's the wrong size

I was told it was the right size but my vaginal entrance is small, but inside is more carpacious.
