Lump: cyst or tumour?

Hi, I know the answer is to see a GP but I’m about to fly on a two week holiday and can’t get an appointment.

I shaved my pubic area about a week ago. Two days ago I noticed a painful lump in my groin/upper thigh where hair grows from pubic region onto the knicker line.

The lump is sore, not so much now though, and has a hair follicle at the top. I can’t see it’s infected though. The lump is solid but moveable I think but not much. It’s under the layer of skin. Not enjoyable to touch but not agony.

Any ideas before I freak out and assume the worst?
