Hi everyone.
So I recently had bloods done amd my results came back normal, was tested for thyroid, anemia and 2 other things. The doctor said it all came back normal but beside two of the results was a red exclamation mark, I didn't think to ask why but I'm really curious as to why 2 did but the others didn't.
I'm so tired to the point i slept 14 hours and still feel like i havent slept. I have horrible flaky/ scaly skin, achy body, and sometimes it's like my brain or throat has forgotten how to swallow. I also have scalloped Tonge which I have never had before, always cold, cold hands and feet, horible niggly headaches
Everyone I know that has thyroid issues said they had experienced the same symptoms I have. My thyroid came back as 2.94 which I don't really understand. Would it be worth going back to the doctors? She said to leave it another 2 weeks see how I go if no change to go back but I honestly can't go on like this for 2 more weeks I feel so emotional with it I feel horrible.
Thanks.

I'd ask for a copy of your results.

It's generally advised to do an early morning blood test for Thyroid. Also if you are a smoker nicotine can suppress the TSH result. Mine was always within range until I stopped smoking and then was so high the GP surgery queried the result with the laboratory!

I’d post your results on the Thyroid UK forum:
