Increased bleeding during ovulation - need to worry?

Hi everyone. Looking to see if anyone else has experience of this?

I had a smear done last Sep and tested positive for HPV but no abnormal cells. I've noticed that during last 4-5 cycles, I've started to bleed more and more during ovulation which I never used to. It went from no bleeding, to pink, to now needing a sanitary towel and this time the bleeding has lasted 3 days.

It's only during ovulation, rest of cycle is fine but the noticeable change has me wondering if i should be worried?

You need to go back to your GP and get it checked out. That’s the only way to put your mind at rest.

It could be an infection causing it.
