Very scared large indent in side of breast

Hello,

I have noticed the past month my right breast looked slightly square. I have implants so put it down to maybe them changing shape or moving. I have a young daughter and I am so scared. Last night I noticed a large indent in the side of my breast. It’s also tighter on that side. It’s my partners birthday today and I’m really trying to stay calm but it’s all I can think about. We have a day planned as a family and the doctor couldn’t see me so have to call back tomorrow. I’m so scared has anyone else experienced the same and it not turn out to be the worst? I couldn’t stop crying last night. I had a lump on my right breast late last year which took 9 weeks to be seen at the breast clinic due to covid and backlog of patience so I’m dreading the wait for this now. Photos attached :(

It's slightly difficult to tell from the photos but try not to worry. (It's easy for me to say, I know).
Worrying won't change anything and will just spoil your plans today. Hopefully you can see the GP tomorrow and if you need a referral to the breast clinic then it will happen swiftly.

Is there just an indent or can you feel a lump in your breast as well?

If you hadn't had implants this would be very worrying indeed. But the chances are its being caused by the implant.

I know it’s true I’m just so worried mainly that I have a young daughter it scares me. I don’t think this is even normal for an implant? The implant itself feels fine and round it seems to be my skin and the fat underneath that’s indented when I feel ? I can’t feel a lump but I’m guessing that’s not always the case. It’s happened so suddenly that’s what worries me it’s like a scoop out of my breast tissue

Family member - with no implants - had very noticeable indent which appeared from nowhere . Like you she feared the worst and initially had a long wait for breast clinic but then managed to get a cancellation within a couple of days
At the clinic she was given a full and detailed examination with mammogram, scans etc but nothing sinister was found and she was discharged and advised to make contact again in 3 months if she still had concerns.
Initially she was worried that something may have been missed but the indent didn’t get any worse and lessened gradually. I cant remember now precisely how long ago this was but it was at least a couple of years before we went into lockdown.
It’s easy for me to say try not to worry, but sometimes things turn out to be not as bad as you think .Hope you manage to enjoy your partners special day.

@millymae thank you for your message this has made me feel slightly better. Glad she was ok what a relief for her!

It’s so stressful I’m more worried about my little baby girl and the thought of the worst happening I’m having all these irrational thoughts Sad

I have just emailed my doctors with the photos in the hope they can show someone for me today.
