Nausea/dizziness

Over the last couple of months I thought I was pregnant from all the symptoms I was getting.
However I am not pregnant so I’m unsure why I’m having these symptoms.

I have been getting a pressure like feeling in both temples, and also sometimes it feels like it twitches/spasms (like a pulsating which I can feel without touching it) it has been there constantly for the last 3 days and is very uncomfortable and sometimes painful and it also sometimes happens in my eye lid and right under my eye.

I’ve also been feeling very dizzy, sometimes it’s been that bad I’ve had to lie down in a dark room until it passes which can take up to 2 hours, I’m constantly feeling sick, I’ve never been sick but just have that nausea feeling all the time, which is a lot worse when I’ve felt dizzy.

At first I thought maybe I was Getting the pressure/twitching in my head from stress or tiredness however it’s been going on for a long time now, especially where I have developed dizziness and nausea since the headaches have started.

I've been to the doctors, and she did all the checks and said everything seems okay and they have given me some painkillers for my headache... and told me to go to the opticians, if everything is okay at the opticians she will refer me to a headache specialist she said the sickness and dizziness could just be something called vertigo, but I didn't know it could last this long, everyday I just feel so sick and suddenly I will feel really dizzy too, it's awful... has anyone else experienced this ? I just feel so strange and I'm always extremely tired.

How old are you?

I went to a menopause talk today and peri starts from average of 45 (but also earlier and later) and this is a symptom.

Ask to speak to a nurse who prescribes HRT and is familiar with the menopause.

I'm only 22, would this be possible so young ?

And I don't think I'm pregnant as I have just come on my period, I have done tests and have all been negative. However a month ago I thought I saw a faint line, but I have had a blood test since then and done more urine tests and they have all been negative too... so unless the tests just aren't picking up that I'm pregnant? But you don't usually bleed when you are. Not sure what's going on in my body, but I don't feel right.

Long Covid maybe?

mummytoaprincess04 · 23/03/2022 08:20

Yes it could be that... I did have covid around 2 months ago, the feelings I'm getting, headache/nausea/dizziness are literally happening everyday from when I've woke up to when I go to sleep, it's scary.

I was dizzy for a few months after Covid.
Now I feel dizzy when I lie down...
