Stress incontinence

I have a terrible cough and I’m suffering from stress incontinence every few minutes, which I’m finding very humiliating and sore. I’ve had coughs before but never had this problem. I’m 43 with one child and I’m scared this is the start of deterioration that will end up with me pissing myself like an old lady and needing to use Tena pads.

I'm 34 with four kids. Mine was bad in pregnancy, I would full on pee myself after laughing or coughing. Three of my kids were born weighing over 10 pounds and I'm quite small so I think it was too much pressure on my pelvic area. I do occasionally pass small amounts of urine if I'm needing to pee and I suddenly sneeze or cough, but it's not full on wetting myself. It's not really normal but it is common. I feel better wearing a pad daily in case anything happens, not Tena as I don't need anything that thick, but a panty liner or sanitary towel. There's exercises you can do but I haven't really found them effective.
