I'm 6 days late...

I'm 6 months post partum and booked to have a coil fitted in the morning.

Another pregnancy is not an option for me (I have 4dc) and the coil is my last shot at contraception before opting for sterilisation.

My last period was 3rd Feb.

I've done 3 tests. 2x bluebdye sainsburys own and 1x pink dye First response early test. All negative.

Does this mean I'm definitely not pregnant? Why else could I be late? I'm stressed but no more stressed than I am usually. I've been pretty regular since having my baby so this is out of the blue. I'm absolutely terrified they're going to test me before the coil fit tomorrow and it'll come up positive or even negative and then go ahead with the coil and it'll end up causing some kind of complications.

Would love some sane reasons as to why else I could be late 🙏

Blue dye*

Also to add we have been using condoms successfully since birth of baby. No slip ups or accidents.

I think it's unlikely if your tests were all negative. I'm normally like clockwork and sterilised so no chance I can get pregnant but once or twice in the last few months I've been a week late which is unusual for me, but I went on to have my period.

The thought of being pregnant and having to arrange a termination fills me with dread. I absolutely cannot have another baby and its taken me so long to work myself up to having this coil fitted. It's giving me anxiety!

I'll do another first response before my appointment in the morning just to be double sure.

Hopefully it was all ok @HopelesslyHopeful87 and you were able to have your procedure.

Thanks yes all went ahead OK. Got to repeat pregnancy test in 3 weeks to be certain though.
