Bleeding, feeling faint but not on period?

So I'm phoning the Drs tomorrow but I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?

I'm 4 months post c-section, there were no complications during the c-section or during my pregnancy and I have been relatively well up until now. Recently I've been feeling faint and dizzy quite a lot but now I'm starting to bleed bright red blood on and off (it's quite heavy but not soaking my pads) and I'm not on my period. I get really bad pain around my c-section scar and around my hips. Honestly there's moments where I honestly think I could pass out but the bleeding has only started until this week, other than that my period was back to normal.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Could it be due to the c-section?

It could be an infection.

If you’re actually feeling like you might pass out I’d ring 111 for advice

I thought possibly because my appetite has been a bit rubbish and I have had a history of being anaemic I thought it might have been that but then the bleeding and pain started.

Funnily enough, anaemia can make you bleed more.
