Lump after anal surgery?

hi i had an anal skin tag removed on the 2nd december 2021 but i have been left witha pink fleshy lump ever since. anyone who has gone through the surgey did you have the same problem? how do i get rid of it it has heen 4 months and is seriously depressing me please help

Hi OP! Saw your post and am dealing with something similar myself. Had anal skin tag removal just one week ago but since recovery day 1 I've had lump the size of a kidney bean! (Tmi sorry). I've been doing all kinds of research and have heard so many horror stories, I'm worried that this new lump may never go away or may take forever to go away. I've called the doctor so many times in the last week I know they are sick of me, they keep saying that its swelling and its normal and they will examine it when i go in for my checkup in about 5 days but I'm just so concerned that this is not going to go away, I know I know its only been one week but it has not changed at all in size no matter how many warm baths I take or how many ibuprofen pills I take. Wondering if yours ever cleared up or got better.
