Vitamin D tablets

Apologies if this isn't where to post this. I saw on this morning about vitamin D tablets and the requirement to take them but do you think it may be too late? Do you need a doctors or GP advice to take them or can you just take a lower dosage of them from the local boots ?

Any advice would be fab!

I've had a bad Vit D deficiency in the past so now take these daily. They are excellent and you can get them in most pharmacies

It's not too late op.
The advice is take them until March/ April.
Now where I live I won't be exposing my skin much before May so I continue until it's actually warm enough to get the sun on my skin.

If you have darker skin you are more likely to be deficient. I'm a red head type so feel confident not to supplement through summer and early autumn.
