Hi!

Could anyone tell me their experiences with s+s? Like what the procedure is, how long the procedure takes and is it painful? Just the ins and outs so I'm prepared and know how some other people found it.

Thank you!

It was pretty uncomfortable but bearable
Didn't work for me however

Floofsquidge · 03/03/2022 12:49

I had 3 and cried after the first time as it felt so uncomfortable. The other two times were ok but I think I just knew what to expect. They can work, but anecdotal evidence suggests this might be because you were likely to go into Labour soon anyway. Did not work for me at all.

I had three with my son (the third one was successful and I had him that night). I can't remember them being particularly uncomfortable to be honest.

Meh. In the context of giving birth they're nothing. They're not that pleasant- but in my opinion the pain is worth it if they bring on labour.

Mine was mildly uncomfortable but not painful. Didn't take long at all.
