So I'm in my last month of pregnancy, my pee tests have been normal up until these past three weeks. My leucocytes are sliiiiiightly higher than they should be. What could it be? Is it anything to worry about?

UTI or thrush?

Why are you testing your pee? When you don’t know what to equate the results too?

If there’s +,blood or nitrites then probably a UTI and give a fresh,morning mid pee sample into GP tomoz.

UTI usually. Have you had bloods done lately?

I remember mine were about 11/12 all the way through and it was just one of those things, didn’t show up in urine though.

@Starcrossed2 yeah I had my bloods done yesterday too! They're normal. Just extra sugary pee lmao

Leukocytes are white blood cells and they are a normal part of blood. They come to fight infection so most commonly they wash into a pee sample from your perineum if you have thrush but they can also be seen in urine in a uti and that is what your mw is looking for.

As above, they are your infection fighting cells you may know them as white blood cells.
They’ll be checking for urine infection which is not cool in pregnancy - but you can get antibiotics to treat it.
I assume they’re monitoring you for GD if your pees “sugary?” So they’ll catch it
I had a million they would say “ have you been urinating frequently?”
Me: “Of course! I’m pregant!?”
